The Basic Life Support & Heartsaver Instructor Renewal courses are designed for instructors who have a valid instructor certification card and are able to attend an instructor renewal class before the end of the month that their certification card expires. To qualify for the Instructor Renewal course: participants have had to have taught 4 AHA courses in the 2 year instructor cycle.

During the instructor renewal class, you will review AHA and our Training Center policies, and team teach with our instructor during a class to complete the instructor monitoring requirement by the AHA. Instructor renewal classes are scheduled for 3 hours.
