Babysitter's Training

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course is for participants who are 11-16 years old. This training course will highly regarded with parents of young children and know as a strong national training program. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care safely and responsibly for children and infants. They will be taught several modules: babysitting business skills, childcare skills of diapering, feeding children, bottle-feeding an infant, leadership skills (encouraging positive behavior and rewards). During the class, participants will learn and practice first aid skills, CPR, abdominal thrusts and the use of an AED.

The class is taught for 6 hours at our Training Center. A resource manual will be provided for each participant and two certification cards will be included in the cost of the class.
