Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor Renewal
Description
The PALS Instructor Renewal courses are designed for instructors who have a valid instructor certification card and can attend an instructor renewal class before the end of the month in which their certification card expires. To qualify for the Instructor Renewal course, participants must have taught 4 AHA PALS courses during the 2-year instructor cycle.
During the instructor renewal class, you will review AHA and our Training Center policies and team-teach with our instructor during an PALS class to complete the AHA instructor monitoring requirement. Instructor renewal classes are scheduled for 6 hours.

- Registration in advance of attending the class is required. Registration can be completed on our website by clicking on the REGISTER tab or speaking with our staff.
- The cost of the class includes an American Heart Association completion certificate which is valid for 2 years and is emailed to each participant after the class.
- RMCPR does our best not to cancel a class; occassionally classes are rescheduled due to low attendance.
- Class changes can be made 48 hours in advance of the class. If class changes are made in less than 48 hours of the class, a $30 reschedule fee will be charged.

The American Heart Association highly recommends that attendees purchase the manual for attended classes, and for purchasing the instructor manuals for the disciplines that you teach.
Electronic manuals are now available and the link will be emailed to you separately after you register. The electronic manuals will be stored on the AHA network under the bookshelf tab.
Physical books will be provided at the class or you can pick them up from our training center in advance.
