Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) New Instructor courses are designed for individuals who desire to teach AHA PALS classes at their workplace setting. The Instructor Initial class provides an understanding in how to teach high quality PALS skills, creates an understanding of the American Heart Association curriculum and how our Training Center partners with the AHA. The class will also provide hands-on practice on how to teach PALS Provider skills with one of our highly skilled instructors.

Then the participant can register for the PALS New Instructor course. There is PALS Instructor online learning that is required before attending the PALS Instructor Initial class. On the day of the training, participants will learn AHA and Training Center policies and practice teaching and utilizing required skills checks.
An PALS instructor manual is required for the PALS New Instructor class, a manual can be purchased when registering for the class. Physical books need to be picked up from our Training Center in advance of completing the online pre-coursework.
