Description

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support “ACLS” is an advanced, instructor-led class addressing the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care for adult populations. Participants will practice airway management, pharmacology, and EKG rhythm identification. This course is designed for medical professionals and prepares them to respond to cardiac arrest, bradycardia, and tachycardia emergencies. The skills are practiced in large and small groups with medical case scenarios utilizing electronic simulators. The class covers the BLS curriculum, and participants will earn a BLS Provider certification card if they take the BLS Provider exam. A copy of the ACLS Provider Manual is required for taking this course. ACLS CLASSES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

 

This course is taught in a hybrid format with online training and then an in-person skills check. After registering for this course on our website, purchase the ACLS Heartcode video from ShopCPR.com and complete the online training before attending the in-person skills check at our TrainingCenter. A printed copy of the ACLS Heartcode course certificate of completion is required to participate in the class on the day that you registered.

Please select a book option (untaxed if we have your certificate on file), course date, and then specify the number of students you wish to register and click the “Register” button below. You will enter the individual student information in the following steps.

  • Registration in advance of attending the class is required.  Registration can be completed on our website by clicking on the REGISTER tab or speaking with our staff.

  • The cost of the class includes an American Heart Association completion certificate which is valid for 2 years and is emailed to each participant after the class.

  • RMCPR does our best not to cancel a class; occassionally classes are rescheduled due to low attendance.

  • Class changes can be made 48 hours in advance of the class.  If class changes are made in less than 48 hours of the class, a $20 reschedule fee will be charged.

The American Heart Association highly recommends that attendees purchase the manual for attended classes, and for purchasing the instructor manuals for the disciplines that you teach.

Electronic manuals are now available and the link will be emailed to you separately after you register.  The electronic manuals will be stored on the AHA network under the bookshelf tab. 

Physical books will be provided at the class or you can pick them up from our training center in advance.
